Awesome. I tried to do a Birka pattern as well, but it ended up a little different. Have a look in my gallery if you like to see and judge it ;) You did a great job.

Yes I saw it! It is lovely! When i tried weaving this particular band, i had much difficulty starting it the right way and at some point i got it the way you did, but that is not how i wanted it. So i kept at it. I want to try a full band your way at some point.
Cheers! :)

I must say both the colors, the pattern, and above all the evenness of the weaving is really, really good in this band.
My hat is off to your patience. =)

Your trimmings (hope it's the right term ;P) are simply amazing..

This one's my favourite: 50 hours, but it was really worth it!

Brilliant work! I love the combination of colors. When it comes to tablet weaving I think less is more for colors.

I think it depends on the pattern though, but yes, as a general rule, simplicity is beauty :)

yep... >< your emoticon is just the right one..
And ill have to make 4meters more....
I just sewed together an apron with which i want to use this band, up at the edge and down at the bottom' edge. But it isnt all straight at the bottom yet so only the one up is fixed. Now i went to a medieval market this weekend and i tried to sell some of those weaves ive been posting here, and i put that one on the table, wanting to show that i can do it and can do it on commission... but forgot to tell it to the friends i was with at the booth. And so, while i wasnt there, it got sold and so i need to make some more................ gaaaah!!!!!
